Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as the protagonist on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was the daughter of an employee of a department store and an elementary school teacher. Her first acting experience was as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, the nanny of Michael Landon's family, helped Martin to be an actor on the television show Father Murphy.
